I get to do a lot of great interviews, and I am in the fortunate position that I am always challenged to deal with artists within a number of genres. Whether it's a more recent interview like the ones we have done for the Soundsphere magazine website like Kevin Oglivie from alt-electro and industrial band Skinny Puppy / ohGr or Killing Joke (coming in issue two of the printed magazine out lat Summer), or an older one...
I think that my favourite interview from last year has to have been this one that I conducted for 24Seven Lifestyle magazine on pop queen Beverley Knight.
This one really challenged me to think outside of my comfort zone of rock, metal and electronic music and delve in to the mind of one of the UK's most successful pop musicians. It was a lot of fun and she was a great artist to work with. We covered touring, performing with the icon Prince and her own influences and inspirations.

I've obviously got a way to go before I can look back at this year. But, I will come up with something.
