In another BBC Introducing spotlight, I had a natter with Jamie Baker who plays guitar in Officers. With this one, it was cool because not only is Jamie in a band himself, but he has valuable experience within the field of social media (that's what got Officers on to the Gary Numan tours last year - or at least, an introduction occurred via Twitter!).
I wanted Jamie to speak on how valuable social media has been for Officers' music, and how useful it can be for other acts as well. So, while Jamie's industry is music (like a lot of listeners and guests on Introducing), it was cool to chat with someone who has been able to use social media as such a successful tool (Officers are a DIY band) to get ahead in the ever-competitive music industry.
