We would like to introduce ourselves to you properly, so that you know exactly who we are and what we do.
We are a creative agency born from the desire of dedicated freelancers who wished to form a partnership and take on corporate and creative projects while using the talents we have to expand our own professional profiles, but to also inform, support and work alongside others within our ever-expanding network.
We champion collaboration between the most gifted people within journalism, public relations, film, broadcasting and design; these mediums work naturally together and share the same creative condition. We can and will help you.
Jonathan Sillence - graphic design with animation and photography
Jonathan is an artist with academic, professional and practical experience of illustrations, photography, film and music video-making, animation and web design. He has participated in artistic projects with KhaoZ Media, and he helped establish The Smallest Art School In The World in London. Jonathan is also active in creating and developing ideas for websites, artists and publications across the UK.
Mike Leigh Cooper - media production and training
Mike is without question one of the most dedicated film and media production professionals currently based in North Yorkshire. His passion and drive to succeed has seen him make a strong impression upon a range of organisations including Mind The Gap (where he works as a media trainer for people with learning difficulties in Bradford), the European Union (Mike has travelled extensively as a UK reporter looking at a range of issues in celebration of the European Year of Volunteering) and more. Mike's passion for people and stories has allowed him the opportunity to work not only within community media and education but also on music videos for high-profile UK musicians including Kid British and also on corporate briefs for Venturefest Yorkshire.
Dom Smith - copywriting, public relations and social media
Dom is a dedicated journalist with a background in working for print and online publications within the arts and technology sector; these include NME, Rock Sound, T3 and Stuff. Dom also edits an online and print music and culture publication for the north of England (Soundsphere magazine) which is one of the projects we now oversee here at The Creative Condition. Dom is also an experienced copywriter, having produced written work for Higher York, York St John University, My Destination, Rough Guides, Bar Lane Studios, Treasures Revealed In West Yorkshire and more. With an MA in his chosen field of journalism, Dom is equipped to write in any style and frequently produces workshops to take into schools and colleges.
Colm O' Rourke - radio production, broadcast journalism and media training
Colm O'Rourke is a cross-platform journalist with experience in video, audio and blog production and editing. He has also worked in page-ready production for national, regional and local press. Among the organisations he has worked with are KhaoZ Media, Accessible Arts and Media, The Press Association, York CVS and Soundsphere magazine. Colm is also skilled in preparing and facilitating inclusive media training workshops. He has also taken part in a series of pan-European youth media events coordinated by the European Union.
Jade Aitken - accounts
Jade is the glue that holds our team together, and it is as pure and simple as that. Her unwavering determination and valuable organisational skills are at the core of TCC and we are very lucky to have her on-board. When we have an event to celebrate new clients or any success, Jade sorts it.
Kieran Schlechter - web design
Kieran is a celebrated multi-disciplined web designer who has a strong portfolio of work behind him, most notably Soundspheremag.com, the home of Soundsphere magazine online. Kieran's eye for detail and great dedication has meant that he's been able to carefully manage the site (which now receives hundreds of views a day) and make improvements to his work as needed. Kieran has also led on a range of projects for companies in Yorkshire and nationally.

Thank you.
